Information
Boise Valley Cutting Horse Association is awarding a $1000.00 scholarship to eligible students.
Eligibility
You must be 18 or under.
You are a BVCHA member or you have a qualifying relative (mother, father, step-mother, step-father, grandparent) that is currently a BVCHA member.
Minimum GPA – 2.5
You must volunteer at a minimum of one show during the 2026 show season.
How to Apply
Applications must be typed, complete and include the following:
1. BVCHA Scholarship Application
2. High School Transcript
3. Essay
Your name should only be included in the Application Information Section.
Please do not use your name on the essay you submit.
Applications should be of a professional quality, indicating the applicant has paid attention to detail, and reviewed spelling, grammar and submission instructions.

September 30th, 2026
Selection Criteria
BVCHA Scholarship Committee will select a recipient based on criteria including application information, quality of written essay and information provided on goals and plans to achieve those goals.
